Fight fans might finally get a sense of whether Joe Mesi (26-0) is the real deal or not when he faces his stiffest challenge to date against DaVarryl Williamson (18-1). The bout will highlight HBO's "Night of the Young Heavyweights" on Sept. 27. Other scheduled bouts include Juan Carlos Gomez (36-0) vs. Sinan Samil San (18-0) and Dominick Guinn (22-0) vs. Duncan Dokiwari (22-1).
