Vargas Comeback Off to a Good Start

Fernando Vargas scored an easy knockout of Fitz Vanderpool in his first bout since his KO loss to Oscar De La Hoya last September. That much we know. What we don't know is if Vargas can return to the elite level after taking brutal beatings from Felix Trinidad and De La Hoya. Vargas' chin will remain a question mark until it's truly tested and Vanderpool had neither the power nor the skills to administer that test.
