Mosley Decisions De La Hoya: Close and Controversial

Monday September 15, 2003
The first time they met, Shane Mosley won a majority decision over Oscar De La Hoya and no one complained about the verdict. This time around Mosley won by unanimous decision and there are many who feel that the Golden Boy was robbed. However, there appear to be just as many "experts" who feel that justice was done. In fact, in a poll of 28 sportswriters at ringside, 16 scored it for Mosley, eight for De La Hoya and four had it as a draw. You'll get another chance to decide for yourself when HBO replays the fight this Saturday night, Sept. 20, at 9:45 PM ET.
