The Beast Still Hoping To Fight Iron Mike

While Lennox Lewis is deciding whether or not he's ever going to enter the ring again, Mike Tyson is facing a differnt decision -- what type of ring to enter. With his interest in boxing apparently waning, Tyson appears to be contemplating facing Bob "The Beast" Sapp in a K-1 bout at some point in 2004. Sapp has helped make K-1, a karate/kickboxing/taekwondo/kung fu hybrid - a phenomenon in Japan. A proposed bout between the 6'-7", 375 pound Sapp and Tyson in the United States would be designed to lure a whole new nation of fans to the fledgling sport. The event itself would likely become as much a media circus/freakshow as a sporting event.
