FOX's Next Great Champ a Chump?

Fox may have won its battle to get a reality boxing series on the air before NBC but the victory wasn't tasting so sweet after a look at the ratings. Last week's premiere drew 5.2 million viewers which doesn't sound all that bad ... unless you compare it to the competition. For its time slot, The Next Great Champ finished fourth in its target demographic segment (adults 18-49) and lost over 2 million viewers from its lead-in (Trading Spouses). Perhaps NBC's The Contender will fare better ... but we wouldn't bet on it.
