Hector Camacho Sr. Arrested on Burglary Charge

Former champ Hector "Macho" Camacho Sr. was arrested today in Mississippi for the burglary of a Gulfport business last November. Camacho is being held in the Harrison County Jail on $50,000 bond pending an initial court appearance. Police declined to release any details of the burglary. Camacho had been training in Mississippi for a scheduled middleweight bout with Chris Walsh on Jan. 21 in Gulfport. Camacho has had several brushes with the law including serving 3-1/2 months in a New York prison for auto theft when he was 16.
