Tyson on Comeback Trail ... Again
Monday February 21, 2005
Mike Tyson has confirmed he intends to return to the ring later this year. Tyson, now 38, has been out of action since being stopped in four rounds by Danny Williams last July. In an HBO interview during the Bernard Hopkins-Howard Eastman telecast, Tyson sounded enthusiastic about resuming his career and claimed that the knee injury he suffered during the Williams fight is no longer an issue. Tyson indicated he's "looking to have two or three easy fights before stepping up". That was plan for the last comeback as well. The only problem was that even Danny Williams was not "easy" enough for a way-past-his-prime Tyson.
