Tyson Coming Back ... Again!

Tuesday April 12, 2005
Mike Tyson's latest comeback begins on June 11 at the MCI Center in Washington D.C. when the former champ takes on Kevin McBride. McBride, who thought he was going to be the opponent for Tyson's last comeback (Danny Williams eventually got the shot), hails from Clones, Ireland and has a pro record of 32-4-1 with 27 KOs. He also stands 6' 6'' tall. Thats' the good news. The bad news - and the reason he's been hand-picked for this fight - is that McBride's never beaten a decent heavyweight and all four of his losses have been by KO (to Louis Monaco, Axel Schulz, Michael Murray and DaVarryl Williamson). He's also about the slowest-moving fighter in the entire division. It seemed hard to imagine Tyson losing to Williams but it happened. It's even harder - almost impossible - to imagine Tyson losing to McBride ... but, at this point in Tyson's career, anything is possible.
