Byrd Sets Title Defense with Klitschko

Chris Byrd will defend his portion of the heavyweight title on April 22 in a rematch with former champ Wladimir Klitschko. These two first met in October 2000 with Klitschko winning a 12-round unanimous decision. Byrd is difficult to look good against but his complete lack of punching power makes him an ideal opponent for Klitschko, whose chin remains a big question mark. Klitschko will also have the crowd behind him as the fight will take place in Mannheim, Germany (and be televised by HBO).
