Winky Outpoints Ike; Lacy Struggles but Wins
For two rounds, former IBF super middleweight champ Jeff Lacy (22-1) looked like he would simply overwhelm unranked Vitali Tsypko (19-2). However, Lacy began complaining about pain in his left shoulder following the second round and absorbed a lot of punishment over the remaining eight rounds as Tsypko seemed able to penetrate Lacy's guard with straight, crisp shots whenever he wanted. Lacy was on wobbly legs on a few occasions but, to his credit, fought hard throughout and earned the decision by simply outworking Tsypko. One judge had it a draw at 95-95 but was overruled by two cards, which read 96-94 Lacy.

Yes! Another great win for Winky! Congratulations Winky! Way to go!!
I believe Winky is going to go for the money after all! Congrats to him for earning some fans. I thought the fight was way closer than the cards though. Then again, I didn’t score the “knockdowns” as knockdowns and I thought Ike won those rounds.
Winky was impressive though. He deserves another borefest with JT. Maybe JT can retire after that. Tiff!
You had the Winky-Ike fight right on the money. Shame Ike got away for 5 yrs and tried coming back at #160. Did not see Lacy-Vitali but have to believe from your write up Vitali got a raw deal.
jeff lacy is a real good fighter, but he reminds me of tyson now,his aura of invinsibility has gone, fighters aint gunna be scared of him lke they wouldve been in the past.
