Shane Mosley vs. Zab Judah?
Wednesday February 6, 2008
Nothing has been finalized but Shane Mosley and Zab Judah have reportedly reached a verbal agreement to meet on May 31 in Las Vegas. Mosley is coming off a loss to Miguel Cotto ... and Judah hasn't beaten a world class opponent (Cory Spinks) in three years ... and Zab has only has two wins in his past six fights.
So how come we're so excited about this fight? Probably because we can't imagine it not being action-packed, with both fighters throwing and catching a lot of leather. No alpha-belt titles will be a stake. Who cares! Assuming they can work out the details, we'll be tuning in to watch Mosley-Judah on May 31.

YES!!! Zab has been calling out Mosley since i can remember…. i’m talking about when both waas undefeated…while Zab has been a waste of Talent and skillz ..Mosley has capitalized on his…Both have losses to Cotto well i consider the Mosley match a rip off i had Mosley out punching him 3-1 but anyways that’s another topic… we are about to see speed and power against speed and power…a shakey chin against an aged battled one….boxing needs fights like this it generates so much excitement.my prediction Mosley KO’S Judah in the 7th but not before getting rocked himself
This would be an interesting match although I can’t see how Judah would have much of a chance. Shane is just too quick, too strong and very smart. I do believe that he could have certainly gotten the edge in the Cotto match. i watched it twice and came to the conclusion that Shane was more effective and certainly deserved a win or at the least a draw. It is possible that the Judah fight would be a tune for Shane for a Cotto rematch or perhaps something bigger. In any event it should be an interesting and good fight, worth watching.
have to agree. i thought mosely was unlucky but then maybe he needed to push it harder against cotto. he’ll beat zab easily but it’ll be a fight worth watching. you have to ask though where does zab go if he does lose?
Campbell makes a very good point. If Zab loses, what is leftfor him. And I suspect that if he does fight Shane, odds are that he will lose. Perhaps it is time for Zab to think about whether retirement is the smarter move or hanging around for a couple more years as a stepping stone for the next crop of kids moving up. It would seem to me that retirement is the best option, but then we have seen how many “retired” guys come back again and again.
s long as there are no low blows, I will go with Zab Judah with a close decision in an exciting thriller. Zab is one of the few who can match or have better Speed then Mosely and he has KO power. Cotto only beat Judah because he low blowed him intentionally twice to wear him down since that was the only way he’d win. Zab Judah will and get back up there with the elite!
I think this will be an action packed fight. But i think both these guyz are pretty much washed up. Jab even more.

t bay. Beside, I think Zab pissed Mosley off.
Comment above was cut off. Unfortunatley, Zab despite his god-given ability may be obverwhelmed and perhaps stopped by Mosley. He will show shades of his gifts but Mosley has similar gifts and is a little too much “man” to be kept at bay.
