Toney-Rahman Tonight! Last Chance?
When they met in 2006 (and fought to a draw) they were both among the heavyweight elite. That is no longer the case as Toney, 39, has been out of action for over a year (serving a suspension for repeated use of performance enhancing drugs) and Rahman, 35, hasn't beaten anyone of note since losing his WBC title to Oleg Maskaev by 12th round TKO in August 2006.
While both men have made something of a habit of entering the ring in terrible condition in recent years, they appear to have at least shed some weight in preparation for this fight with Toney weighing in at 226 (vs. career high of 237) and Rahman at 244 (vs. career high of 261).
If past-their-prime heavyweights don't interest you, ESPN2 has a 12-rounder between welterweights Delvin Rodriguez and Oscar Diaz tonight as well.
