Olympic Gold Medals by Country

The boxing finals are complete at the 2008 Olympics and, as has been widely reported, the U.S. team did not win a Gold (or Silver) medal at these games. Much more shockingly, Cuba did not win any Gold medals either - despite having eight fighters advance to the medal round. The 11 Gold medals went to fighters representing nine different countries, with China and Russia leading the way:
