Poll: Samuel Peter vs. Vitali Klitschko. Who Will Win?

Wednesday October 8, 2008
Assuming he doesn't get hurt between now and Saturday, Vitali Klitschko will enter the ring in Berlin, Germany to challenge Samuel Peter for Peter's WBC heavyweight title.

Despite being out of action for nearly four years with assorted injuries, oddsmakers have made Klitschko a narrow favorite in the fight (-150/+130). Who do you think will win? Peter or Klitschko? Vote in our poll.

Showtime will televise Peter-Klitschko on same-day tape along with the Antonio Tarver vs. Chad Dawson bout in Las Vegas for Tarver's IBF light heavyweight title.

(1) Donald Wolberg says:

Wow, if ever there was a non-fight, this was it. Peter spent the entire bout getting banged with leather from Klitschko. Peter made the big guy look very good, and himself very bad. The fight was more about the overweight, slow and ponderous Peter not being able to do much of anything. I don’t think Klitschki was as goos as he looked except by comparison. I also don’t think Peter is as bad as he looked, and he can still come back if he learns how to move, and loses about 20 pounds.

I wonder if Klitschko will fight again, or he will take this gift from Peter and retire. He has accomplished his and his borther’s goal of both being champion at the same time. I would really like to see a fight with David Tua, however, if anyone can find Tua–that would be a real test of the older Klitschko.
