Haye's trashtalking created interest in the fight, so it will likely be rescheduled at a later date. However, over 40,000 tickets have already been sold (at a 60,000 seat soccer stadium in Gelsenkirchen, Germany), so Klitschko may try to quickly line up a replacement opponent to save the current date. One option could be WBA champion Nikolay Valuev, who had his May 30 rematch with Ruslan Chagaev cancelled after Chagaev failed a pre-fight blood test. Klitschko-Valuev makes sense and would seem to entirely doable as both big men are presumably already in shape. However, this is the heavyweight division so the odds of Klitschko-Valuev happening on June 20 are slim.
We'll update this story as more information becomes available.
