Holyfield Facing Foreclosure Again
Friday June 26, 2009
Former heavyweight champ Evander Holyfield is again facing foreclosure on his 54,000-square foot home in suburban Altanta. Holyfield reportedly expects a settlement to be reached before the 235-estate is auctioned. The Real Deal has earned in excess of $120 million in his career but at 46 - despite still considering himself an active fighter - there are no big paydays looming. Sooner or later it appears he will have to downsize to a residence that does not feature 109 rooms, 17 bathrooms, three kitchens and a bowling alley. What a hardship . . .

Holyfield is a great fighter ,I don’t like what happen to him with his home I wish someone could help him . HOLFIELD YOU ARE A GREAT FIGHTER.
I gotta tell ya, whenever I see Holyfield’s name mentioned in any context, I wince.
I’ve always thought he was one of the most overrated boxers ever (in my top ten of overrated boxers).
I wince whenever he does fight (and lose) and then have to listen to the ridiculous excuses afterwords (not to mention his atrocious verbal “skills”).
But here’s a guy who has made more money than 99.9999% of people in existence and he’s STILL too stupid to know how to live within his means? How anyone can feel sorry for the over-priveleged mega-rich is beyond me.
Sorry – no pity here. This guy needs to grow a brain on multiple levels. He’s become another boxing caricature. He and Mike Tyson ought to share a room ….
holyfield was a disgrace to boxing juicing up with steroids. In his natural state, tyson back in the late 80’s would have ko’d holy in less then 5.
