Bradley-Campbell Ruled No Contest

The California State Athletic Commission has changed the result of the Timothy Bradley - Nate Campbell bout from a TKO win for Bradley to a no-contest. The CSAC correctly determined that an accidental head-butt in the third-round caused the cut above Campbell's left eye. Overturning a decision is rare but in this case it was justified. Bradley retains his title and will likely make a mandatory defense against Lamont Peterson rather than give Campbell, who lost every round against Bradley and seemed to have no interest in continuing once he was cut, a rematch.
