IBF/WBO heavyweight champ Wladimir Klitschko dominated challenger Eddie Chambers in a dull, one-sided fight for eleven rounds. Before the final round, trainer Emanuel Steward instructed Klitschko to be more aggressive because "we don't need another bulls**t decision". Wladimir, uncharacteristically, responded and went after Chambers, finally connecting with a sweeping left hook that knocked Chambers down late in the round. Referee Geno Rodriquez didn't need to count as Chambers was out. The official time was 2:55 of round 12.

I earlier wrote that the Klitschko brothers were not good for the division or for boxing. They have taken a page from the great Joe Louis and started their “bum of the month” club, fighting not very good challengers, carefully selected to lose, on friendly turf in very controlled situations. The brothers are more interested in making fights they will win and keeping already tarnished titles. Unlike Joe Louis, however, they do not sprinkle in really good fights with really good opponents. Actually, whenever either brother stepped up to really good opponents, or even not si good opponents, they lost. The brothers are dull, plodding and predictable fighters who would do poorly against real talent. They are simply not good for the division.
