Women's boxing is a medal sport for the first time in 2012 at the London Olympics. There are only three weight classifications with only 12 competitors in each category. The U.S. has a medal hopeful at each weight: Marlen Esparza at Flyweight (112lbs/51kg), Queen Underwood at Lightweight (132lbs/60kg) and Claressa Shields at Middleweight (165lbs/75kg).
