Former champ Ricky Hatton is coming back after 3½ years out of the ring and he's going to test himself in his first fight. Instead of going with an easy opponent, Hatton will face former welterweight beltholder Vyacheslav Senchenko in a 10-round welterweight bout. The fight will take place on Nov. 24 in Hatton's hometown of Manchester, England.

Senchenko, 35, has a career record of 32-1 with 21 KOs. He won the WBA alpha-belt by outpointing Yuriy Nuzhnenko in 2009 and defended his title three times before being stopped on cuts by Paulie Malignaggi in April of this year.

He does have “chutzpah” selecting a very capable opponent, and the fight will be interesting to watch.
