Heavyweights Aiming for Political Office
Former WBC heavyweight champ Vitali Klitschko, 36, is nothing if not determined. Not only is he attempting to resume his career inside the ring, he's also making a second attempt to become the Mayor of Kiev, Ukraine. He previously ran for the post in 2005, but was defeated by Leonid Chernovetskiy who is now accused of corruption. The election is scheduled for May 25. Win or lose, Klitschko still intends to face Samuel Peter in September or October for the WBC title.
What is it with heavyweights and political office? Is it only a matter of time before George Foreman runs for President!

I met Mesi before a fight he had at the Garden. He was being touted as a college graduate. When I asked him about his education, he informed me that HE ONLY had taken a few classes at a community college. I do not think he is qualified to run for state senate here in N.Y. Jason Kolodny
I do not think education has to do with leadership, the spirit of Leadership is GOD given. If a man can have the heart to discipline himself for training, press conferences, fight after fight, become a world champion and a role model. He can sure be the president..I see tem doing better than past presidents…Above all JESUS is the true KING!!!
Foreman would be a better pres. than our current clown. He has traveled and probably has a grasp of a second language.
