Oscar Diaz Emerges from Coma!

Great news out of San Antonio. Welterweight Oscar Diaz, who has been in a coma since his 10-round TKO loss to Delvin Rodriguez on July 16, is now reported to be awake, off the ventilator and breathing on his own. Diaz has been upgraded from critical to stable condition. His family and friends remain hopeful that Diaz, 25, will make a full recovery. These situations rarely end well but thankfully it appears as if Diaz may be an exception.
