One of the alleged victims in a shooting incident outside a Las Vegas skating rink told investigators that Floyd Mayweather Jr. threatened him 10 minutes before an "associate" of Mayweather's shot at his car from the rink's parking lot. Police investigating the shooting seized two handguns (one loaded), ammunition and two bulletproof vests from Mayweather's home and two cars. While no one was hurt in the shooting and Mayweather is not currently considered a suspect, this story appears far from over . . .
In other Mayweather news, his Sept. 19 comeback fight against Juan Manuel Marquez in Las Vegas will not only be on HBO pay-per-view, it will also be available live in about 170 U.S. theaters. Tickets are expected to be around $15 and will also include all of the televised undercard fights.

As a African-American, I will say that race plays a big role in the way we’re judged. But NOT in this case. I followed boxing all my life and I’m ashamed we don’t have anymore Ali’s who were not only great but ambassadors of the sport.
This kid could be mentioned up there with the all-time greats if he showed a little more class. He has all the intangibles to mentioned with SR if he beats Marques and Pac-Man. But because he does it the wrong way.
Race played a role in NYPD beating of a man who was coming from his bachelor party. We don’t even talk about this because idiots like Mayweather get press. When I made it out of the ghetto, I vowed I would be thankful and give back to my brothers and sisters who are less fortunate. That’s not just financial but with coaching and mentoring. Because that’s how you really give back.

All people are innocent until proven guilty.Unfortunately even District Attorneys will withhold evidence that prove innocence to gain a conviction.I suppose that this case will not make it to court.
