Wow brutal
- no matter what kind of a role model tyson is, there is no doubt that he was the best puncher of all time and way higher ranked for best boxer of all time. like come on, it's on record that he is the fastest heavyweight ever. he was most watched ever. youngest champion ever and that's still today. i'm really dissapointed and disgusted.

juan urango
- juan urango should be up there. no 1 hits harder than him at his weight.

russ
- Pretty good list---I saw most of these guys either live or TV or old films. Men who could hit so hard---turn a fight quickly

shavers vs foreman
- i believe it's between shavers and foreman... i'm sure foreman said holyfield was the hardest hitter he faced was HOLYFIELD, i dont know if foreman fought shavers however

Pacman cannot be compared
- Pacman cannot be compared to these guys. He has knocked out faded and weight-drained fighters. Could you imagine Pacman against the hitman Thomas Hearns or against Roberto Duran, both who were great boxers. Pacman is so easy to hit, Hearns would have killed him. How about Sugar Ray Robinson 127-1 as a welterweight?

Marvin Hagler
- While I would agree that Tommy Hearns was a devastating puncher, I don't see Marvin Hagler listed. He took everything Tommy had and returned more... Marvin continues to be under appreciated.

Jesus Pimentel
- I am trying to contact Jesus Pimintel "Jesse". He is a friend from his boxing days in Sacramento, CA in 1963. Can anyone help me? Hallie

between tyson and shavers
- TYSON is a greater puncher than shavers...... please watch the fight of Holmes and Shavers and compare it to the fight between Tyson and Holmes... and judge the result

tyson/shavers
- larry holmes fought both tyson + earnie shavers + said that "SHAVERS PUNCHES MUCH HARDER THAN TYSON"! he should know.

stop whining
- Featherweight boxers in top 10 greatest punchers? Miguel Cotto vs Pacquiao...yeah no sorry Cotto fans? I agree that Pacquiao should be on this list though since he is considered the best pound for pound boxer today, maybe of all time.

greatest punchers
- Why are you guys calling him Cassius Clay. Ali FOUGHT hard TO CHANGE HIS NAME. who knoked out liston and george. hardest puncher no. just call him ali.

EARNIE SHAVERS
- in my oppinion-EARNIE SHAVERS-is the hardest-puncher of all time! ali,holmes,norton,lyle,bugner-ALL said earnie was the hardest-puncher they EVER fought. i have no doubt-earnie shavers is the hardest-puncher in boxing-history.

Boxing greatest PUNCHERS
- Thank god for all of them. What is a good fight with out a knock down or out. As for the list OK.
- —Guest joe
where is.....
- where is Miguel Cotto? he is one of the hardest hitting wealter weights in boxing? Why is Duran listed so low on the list, he should be at least in the top 20. Why is Naseem Hamed even listed on here, he really did not fight any true contenders until he fought Barrera and lost. Where is Barrera on this list too?

The Prince
- Like his antics or not Prince Naseem Hamed was and is the biggest puncher ever to fight in the featherweight division and one of the most devastating knockout artists of the last 25 years. For him to be ranked in the 40's is a disgrace. He would be in my top 10.
